Arido Torrontes from producer Bodega Vistalba, is known as "the liar" in its native Argentina for it's misleading nose. Coming from the super high altitude vineyards (3000m+) of Salta, this super dry white smells like a GewŸrztraminer or sweet wine with huge floral aromas but is actually bone dry. Has to be tasted to be believed. Best served chilled with a platter of cheese.

Foods: Perfect as a refreshing summertime aperitif or paired with a wide variety of foods, particularly anything off the grill and in particular fried seafood. Varieties: 100% torrontes. Colour: Bright yellow. Nose: Deep flower aromas of orange, blossom and jasmine. Palate: Fresh in the mouth with some mineral notes. This fruity Torrontes is a refreshing wine with a good balance of tropical fruit and acidity. With great body this wine covers every single taste bud with a soft, lingering finish.
